Have you noticed those Amazon and B & H banners around here?
December 1, 2008
A special message from “Webbie Dude” Paul:
I imagine you have, and they are also on most of the other web sites that I manage. I give them a try every year around Christmas time. Supposedly I will earn a (small) commission on any sales made as a result of a visitor clicking thru the banner. I say “supposedly”, because, well, frankly, no one has ever actually purchased anything as a result of these seasonal banners. That’s one reason that this year I added them to most of the sites I manage; I’m trying to increase results and hopefully make a sale or two.
For those who know us “in the real world”, you know that being a dirt track photographer and web site “webbie dude” (web site designing, managing and hosting) hasn’t exactly landed us on “easy street.” So that’s why I’ve added the banners. Any little bit helps, and if you’re going to be shopping online this year, I’d certainly appreciate if you started here. I’ll have various ads and deals from Amazon posted here from now until Christmas, and even if you don’t buy, or even want, that particular item, if you enter Amazon thru one of these banners, any resulting sales will be credited to my account.
And if you’re in the market for great camera deals (or any electronics, for that matter), please be sure to check out B & H Photo and Video and enter thru their banner. B & H is where I buy almost all of my photo equipment and I can assure you their prices and customer service are the best in the business.
So now you know why the increase in ads and banners.
Thank you for your support.

Webbie Dude’s Video Pick Of The Week
January 10, 2008
Webbie Dude Paul here, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, just as it’s been a while since Byron has posted a video of the week, so I thought I’d take care of both things with one post.
While this may be too modern and cutting edge for Byron, I happen to like this. Actually, this is from one of the very first Christian albums I ever owned; here’s Sweet Comfort Band with “Childish Things” (And for those who remember Bryan Duncan, you’ll get a kick out of how young he was when this was filmed)
The Official Newspaper of TNKZ Is Closing Shop
August 9, 2007
I just read that Byron’s favorite reading room newspaper is about to publish it’s last issue. Not only was this the Official newspaper of TNKZ, but reports are that it has also been the official paper of the Byronita Division of the American Tiddlywinks Association.
I’m sure it is a sad day here in The No Kool Aid Zone…
How will we ever manage to keep up to date on the well being of the bat-boy now?

Byron’s Been Simpsonized…
July 26, 2007
Ever wonder what Byron would look like as a Simpson character?
No?
Well, I’ll save you the trouble of having to wonder. Thanks to the incredible time-wasting Simpsonize Me web site, here is Byron, as a Simpson’s character…

We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog…

This phrase comes from the 1978 "Jonestown massacre" in which most members of the Peoples Temple cult, blindly following their leader Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.
