D.A. Carson on “Red Letter Christians”
Justin Taylor has an excellent clip from D.A. Carson on the silly idea that Tony Campolo espouses, namely that we ought to have “red letter Christians” (of which he is one), which has the effect of taking more seriously the “red-letters” of Jesus’ sayings than we take the rest of Scripture. Worth the read:

This phrase comes from the 1978 "Jonestown massacre" in which most members of the Peoples Temple cult, blindly following their leader Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.
