“Monkey, Si” – The Latest from Tom Graffagnino
Always a hoot, Tom Graffagnino responds to “The Great Ape Project”, a bill introduced by Spanish Socialists in Spain’s Congress of Deputies which called for the recognition of apes as…persons. Yep, you got it; Darwinism’s logical progression takes a further step toward becoming reality (at least in the minds of Spanish Socialists, which probably means little except that we can now hazard a fairly reasonable guess as to what Harvard’s student body—and half its faculty—will be demonstrating for in the near future). At any rate, here’s Tom’s take:

This phrase comes from the 1978 "Jonestown massacre" in which most members of the Peoples Temple cult, blindly following their leader Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.
