Thank You, Howard Dean…
This, from yesterday’s Agape Press:
…Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean says he feels “insulted” that President Bush suggested that students who learn about evolution also should be taught about intelligent design. Dean told CBS’s Face the Nation that intelligent design, which maintains that DNA and cellular biology are too complex to have evolved by accident, is religion rather than science. The Democratic Party chairman insisted that “there’s no factual evidence for intelligent design,” although he conceded that Albert Einstein “thought that there was some merit to it.”
Dean compared modern advocates of intelligent design to medieval Catholics who persecuted Galileo. He called the Bush administration an “anti-scientific regime.” He said, “Facts matter.” In his words, “You can’t run a business, a state, a country, or a family if you don’t care what the facts are.” [AP]
Hmmm…Einstein or Howie Dean on issues of science…hmmmm…
Out of the mouths of screaming, wild-eyed party chairmen…

This phrase comes from the 1978 "Jonestown massacre" in which most members of the Peoples Temple cult, blindly following their leader Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.

One Response to “Thank You, Howard Dean…”
Dean says that there is no ‘factual evidence’ for intelligent design. He must be blind, deaf, AND dumb! Pun intended.
