Infuriating Doesn’t Begin to Describe This One
This is beyond infuriating. As Supreme Court-watchers know, Kelo v. New London, an unconscionable decision handed down by our ultra-liberal Court (well, at least a majority are ultra-liberal activists), backed, of course, by Democrats (who are “looking out for the little guy”—my…eye), is about to result in the forcible “eminent domain” seizure of several homes in New London, Connecticut, for the purpose of giving that land, not to the city of New London (which would be bad enough), but to a private entity for private development, ostensibly beneficial to New London’s economy. That’s horrible…but now, read this article:
I believe that we ought to shame the city of New London, Connecticut, in any way possible. I am going to officially designate New London, Connecticut, “The Graveyard of Freedom“. I would like to make a request. If anyone who reads this blog is handy enough with graphics to take a few moments and design a simple graphic, designating New London as the Graveyard of Freedom, I will display it on my sidebar; make the graphic available to anyone who is willing to put it on their website; and personally send copies to anyone/everyone in government at the GOF alerting them to our crusade. Enough is enough; this is preposterous and shameless.

This phrase comes from the 1978 "Jonestown massacre" in which most members of the Peoples Temple cult, blindly following their leader Jim Jones, committed suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid.
